MANAGEMENT CONTROL
The Managing Director of Reonet Holding is Mr Mandu Nompunga.
Reonet employs a Regional Controller for each of the regions in which there are long-term, 7-year contacts in place to improve water or energy efficiencies. Our team is dedicated to reducing inefficiencies, both financial and technical, in any property in our portfolio and thereby bring substantial cost savings to our clients.
SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
Reonet is actively involved in growing the current skills base with a number of training interventions, most notably in the technical and engineering field and also with regards to the financial and business management of utility costs.
Through our growing project base for implementation of long-term water and energy efficiency contracts, Reonet has the unique opportunity to partner with our clients over a long period. In this partnership, Reonet is committed to transferring the skills that are required to successfully monitor utility consumption and implement measures to maintain high water and energy efficiencies. Furthermore, our business team and tariff analysts work with our clients to transfer the knowledge that is required to proactively manage utility bills and to bill tenants and outside users.
Reonet’s training program is a combination of skills transfer during employment, together with funding learnerships for successful candidates, to attain certification though CETA and the FET Colleges. As our project base grows, we are providing job opportunities for previously disadvantaged individuals to join the team in technical implementation positions, through to positions of management.
ENTERPRISE AND SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT
Reonet’s commitment to enterprise development also extends to its procurement practices and, wherever possible, preference is given to BEE suppliers. Reonet’s extensive presence in peri-urban and rural areas means that these BEE suppliers, which are often SMMEs, also play an active role in service provision (e.g. trench digging, excavation work and soil transport, pipe replacement, etc.), thereby also supporting the livelihoods of local individuals and communities.
SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Reonet is committed to giving back to South African communities, especially ensuring access to clean drinking water. One of Reonet’s projects is to contribute to the installation and maintenance of PlayPumps in rural schools through Roundabout Water Solutions.
Matcabazini Community, KwaZulu Natal
We maintained the PlayPump at Matcabazini Community with your donation. It needed attention again and in August we went and with your funding replaced the cylinder, 1 rod, 1 bobbing rubber and the forcehead rubbers. It is all working well again, thanks to Reonet’s very generous and ongoing support.

Qudeni School, Nkandla KwaZulu Natal
With Reonet’s generous donation we have done major repair work at Qudeni School in KwaZulu Natal. They cleaned the tank, redid the soil crete under the PlayPump head, pulled out columns and replaced reducing bush on the cylinder, changed the forcehead seal and replaced the MK3 glen ball valve. The PlayPump is now working really well and the kids love it. Thanks for all your support.
